Paul Banks(Interpol) solo album August.

We know there is more to life than the music of the Bunnymen. Talk about those other bands here.

This could be the best album Interpol never release.Comparisions with Thom Yorke's Eraser abound.

The song is good. I wouldn't compare it to Yorke - but that is because I am one of the few people in the universe who thinks Radiohead and Yorke are terrible.

I dunno. Radiohead are incredibly talented musicians. The music is just so whiny and drab. Oh, and unmemorable. For me it is catchy riffs and memorable vocal melodies. In addition, to being "tight."

Thanks for the link, downloading the mp3 right now. As for Radiohead, they are kind of hit or miss with me. I couldn't stand the first album, second one was better but still didn't resonate with me, although so of my friend's still think it's their best. Ok Computer def. peaked my interest. Kid A and Amnesiac I totally love, Hail to the Thief had some good songs but my interest started waning again. In Rainbows bored me a bit. I do respect them a whole lot though, as them seem to be one of the few "underground" bands that have mad it big, but stay true to themselves.

I can hardly wait.
Mr. Brian, I find that offensive.

Scouser's inability to se others' point of view is rather grating.

Its not my fault you are blind to the sheer incandescent brilliance of Haydn and the boys

I don't know what the hell this has to do with Paul Banks or anything else, but I must say Diamond Dave is incredible shape for his age. He can still pull the scissor kicks and show ass crack with flair.
