In Baltimore they say "hon".
"He was a mongoose, rather like a little cat in his fur and his tail, but quite like a weasel in his head and his habits."

Any chick who calls me darlin', honey or sweety receives my undying devotion and if they're a bartender of waitress a helluva tip.
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

I know a girl who calls me darlin' and it makes me feel like I did when I went really high on the swing as a kid.

I would never be disrespectful to bitches like that.

Plus I'm covered. I was raised Mormon. I don't drink coffee.

Oh, I know you'd never disrespect bitch.

That remark was more for the edification of the person posing the original question.

I reckon you are safe, too. Water with lemon doesn't hide much.

Unless you are 60. Then, it magically becomes endearing.

To show women how much I respect them, I make a point not to hold the door open for them at the store. It is insulting.

It belongs on various television shows from the 50s to 70s:

Alice? Yes. Especially when spoken by "Flo":

Gunsmoke, Bonanza, Have Gun Will Travel, Maverick - any western, really - especially when spoken to a woman in a bustier serving drinks in a saloon.
