Is Bring on the Dancing Horses Considered a B-Side, or what?

Just wondering. Is it just a random single unattached to either Ocean Rain or Grey?

I thought it was for a John Hughes movie and released as a single only? No attachment to any of the first five albums.
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

Correct...Mac liked "Skin Deep" by The Stranglers and wrote a song that had a similar feel.....they also recorded @ ICP Studios in Brussels with Laurie Latham in August 1985.
(Same producer and studio as Skin Deep)

You are saying it is correct that BOTDH was "released to promote STL&S"?
I'm not sure I buy that, as it seems a little backwards to me. It was released to promote a record on which it itself appears as the only new song? What about the movie? I think it more likely that it was written for the movie and it was included in the compilation, it being the only reason to buy said compilation.

As far as I remember, it was not written for any film.....it was a new single to promote a singles compilation......everybody did that then and still do to this day.
