When was the last time I actually listened to the bunnys

General discussion about the band, live shows, its recordings or bootlegs, etc. You can buy, sell or trade here. You can even post eBay links. If it's about the Bunnymen, it goes here.

They're always on ads over here.

The thread peters out in a marketing slant to apples and pears.

Here in the UK, I can't think of any odd use of Bunnymen songs. Back of Love kicked off the start of a recent episode of the Life on Mars successor programme Ashes to Ashes. Going Up also features in the new film Awaydays, along with Erics and stuff from the late 70s, early 80s.

Thorn Of Crowns would be a great song to sell veggies or fridges.

I'm listening to Electrafixion right now and eating a bog roll.

I thought we all knew what those were.

Let me guess...Friday I'm In Love?

It would be nice to get a definitive list of the use of Bunnymen songs in ads.

To answer the original question of this thread, I rarely lately seek out Bunnymen (unless I have a new good quality bootleg like that Australian show I posted a link about) and only hear them when they come up on shuffle on my iPod. That may spark me me to listen to a few other songs. My interest usually peaks again when something new is coming out or there is a show to look forward to or it's just generally been a long time since I listened to a whole album. It's not reflective of any change in admiration for their back catalog. When the songs come up on shuffle I will admit that I tend to skip Grey Album, Flowers and Siberia songs quite often.
