"... The Rascals were joined by Echo & The Bunnymen legend Will Sergeant ... Sergeant was in tremendous form earlier in the day at Hard Day's Night Hotel agreeing with Johnny Marr's sentiment that Morrissey was always 'the cunt at the front,' before revealing his dislike of U2's 'Bongo' [sic] and his favourite records of the moment - Dead Meadow, White Hills and 'all that drones'.

He promosed fans much-anticipated new Bunnymen record The Fountain will be released later this year, before signing off his last Friction DJ night at Korova in style."

I'm actually more inclined to take Will's word on that. He seems a truthful chap.

It could be worse Johnny, Morrissey could have joined some shitty band say Modest Mouse to revive his floundering for say 20 years career.

But he's the cunt in the front. Take that Moz.
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

It was funny as shit in the 80's when people knew who Mac and Will were but now it just comes across as sad. Especially when Bono has consistently taken the high road and been nothing but complimentary as far as I know.

Now having said that

Buck Fono.

Moz (sic) has a throat infection.

Doesn't Mac?

Why do rockstars get so many such ailments?

Like hepatits C and burned-out nasal cavities? Yeah I wonder.

I don't want to think about how Morrissey picked up a "throat infection."
