The unofficial official Bring Back Ivan Thread

Postby Scouser » Mon May 18, 2009 5:08 pm

He may have taken your money and run, the site may have been down more than it was up and he may have patently had no communication with the Bunnymen...

BUT

I still have a soft spot for old Ivan

If nothing else the official site was alot busier than it is now (plus he never banned me or moderated my posts, probably because he only logged on twice a year) but...they were good times. Just not if you ordered merchandise.

Hang on...nothing has really changed after all. So we might as well get Ivan back.

Collect your Ivan stories here and remember the legend that was the original Bunny webmeister!
Mr. Brian, I find that offensive.

Scouser's inability to se others' point of view is rather grating.

Didn't he stay at Will's house once? I seem to remember Egg and chips being mentioned

Like I said I always got my orders and we've never heard his side of the story. Plus there was a great Bunnymen site and Mac solo site. Remember the Mac interview where the members could ask the questions and it was recorded and played on the site? Even though I didn't understand a fucking word I thought it was cool.

And really would any of you ever steal from Mac and Will? I just can't fathom someone devoting that much time and effort obviously being a huge fan just up and stealing from their heroes. Not to say it can't happen but it just seems unlikely.

Of course now that's been said, Mr. Brian is a bad man and I appreciate the place he has given us here.

Hell yeah I would. You can bet if I were ever at either of their houses I would boost whatever would fit in my pocket. Daddy needs his souvenir.

I heard Ivan took steroids to artificially boost his webmaster performance.

Ivan was a thief, which makes him an honorary scouser. I always liked his site though.

Do you have specifics? Did you not get an order? I've heard he stole the merchandise money and didn't send out orders but I've never come across anyone who said they never got an order.

Again not saying it can't be true. Besides Jack I just can't imagine anyone stealing from their musical heroes.

On Flickr, I once came across photos he had taken. They were beautiful.

The naked male body is truly a thing to behold.

How about some Seven Seas mailing group stories?
