True, bf. We'll never comprehend what soccer means over there.

Back to this Ian guy- I'm thinking maybe, just maybe, he really was overcome with emotion and that that's why he couldn't/didn't sing YNWA at the memorial match.
Am I grabbing at straws because I just don't want Mac to suck?

He was probably just boozed up. What fun is watching sports without a beer and hot wings?
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

It's no fun at all.

I could go for a beer and some wings right now.

Remember this vaguely. In retrospect, maybe she didn't appreciate being sent in as a clown, so she made fun of the clown part... and if so, that's funny.

It's our equivalent of Hillsborough. It was horrible, and there are many people who will never get their lives back.

After reading a bit about what happened back in 1989, I'm going to give Ian a mulligan on his performance. Maybe his nerves got the better of him or perhaps he was boozed up, but it must have been an honor for him to be included in the tribute.

That's what I'm saying. It must have been overwhelming for someone who's been a fan all his life.

Well, let us not forgot that sometimes Mac can sing a fine dandy tune.

Man, I miss Pete's little fills throughout the songs. Compare the hired hand to PEte. There is none.

That was pretty awful. What was the point in leaving the Gerry Pacemaker vocal on in the background? All you could hear from Mac was mumble-mumble. Don't know why he bothers. They should have given Ricky Tomlinson the mic.
Every word is like an unnecessary stain on silence and nothingness.

Yeah, I miss Mac's voice too it was all so effortless back then, I especially hate the way he pronounces cutter as cur tar these days.

Cur tar, indeed.

That video depressed the hell out of me.
