General discussion about the band, live shows, its recordings or bootlegs, etc. You can buy, sell or trade here. You can even post eBay links. If it's about the Bunnymen, it goes here.

Should this thread be moved to 'if there is ever a VT meet, who shall I shoot with a machine gun outside Liverpool Academy?'?

Ahhh, I see the UK has the same "It isn't my fault" syndrome when it comes down to people taking responsibility for starting a problem in the first place.

Point of note, they didn't. Innocent people died that day just minding their own business. The lack of compassion some people have is pretty disturbing.

Yes, killers often, maybe even usually, kill innocent people.

Does compassion require us to pretend that there are no perpetrators, or is it that we decide that the only acceptable perpetrators are cops? Fill me in, oh super-compassionate one, so that we may learn from you compassionate ways.

For those of us who have no idea what's going on

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hillsborough_disaster

Reading it right now
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

You strike me as a thinned-skinned little twat, jumpingbean. You like to dish it out don't you? Taking it is not your strong suit though, is it?

Like the time you bizzarely finger-waggedabout getting "defensive" then went on a defensive rant about how the band pays the bills for the official forum and other such nonsense.

That was the same post you called some of us "Divas", right before deciding to lecture us on "stupid name calling."

Now you decide to join a discussion and deliver another lecture on "compassion", and when I have the audacity to call you on it, you wet your diapers again.

Were I you, I would fight your strong impulse to lecture us and just engage in the topic at hand. Or, at the very least, expect to get the same back.

I would maybe suggest that our American Cousins should at least read up on the Hillsbourgh Tragedy before making stupid points..............

I.E........ THERE WAS NO RIOTING ........ THE POLICE MADE IT UP...... THAT IS FACT..........

Check out .......... http://www.contrast.org/hillsborough/home.shtm much better than some wikepedia link..........

I was discussing the topic in hand thanks and I'm fully aware that I had a go at you for resorting to namecalling, but I've decided you are not actually worth being civil to. You seem to have a problem with me but thats your problem. You're like a Jack Russell biting ankles. I don't even think your well informed about your opinions in this topic, I think you just like to get a rise out of people, well I bit, but that's what you wanted so well done.

Maybe Mr. Brian should just delete this entire thread and put some sort of filter on the site that causes the user's keyboard to explode if they type the word Hillsborough.
And you know that I'll pick up
Every time you call
Just to thank you one more time

From what I've been reading it doesn't seem like rioting so much as anxious fans filling in the stadium area too quickly and very little in the way of crowd control or cohesive action by security once it was apparent something was going wrong.

And those steel fences look borderline barbaric.

The Jimmy McGovern play has been in ITV Iplayer for about a month, i've just checked again but unfortunately they've taken it off and it isn't on DVD. If you ever get the chance try to watch it.

Then subsequently lectured me for calling you a name. Right or wrong?
