I admit I start to get a little fidgety after Jamie's Cryin'.

Hey that chick is totally showing the crowd her tits. That's rad.
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

In another era of my life, my punk rock, and later mod sensibilities would have ordered me to beat all of you to a pulp for bringing VH to this board. But now, as an overweight father of two, all I can do is shake my head and lump you in the same loony box as my friends who love Motley Crue.

You can enjoy the Minutemen's Van Halen cover guilt-free.

I've got Rotterdam 1983, tracklist Show of Strength, All My Colours, The Cutter, Porcupine, Crocodiles, All that Jazz, Back of Love, Heaven Up Here, Over the Wall, Do It Clean, Villiers Terrace, No Dark Things
Is this the one you're looking for? Will try to upload it soon if it is.

Anything to get the topic away from Van Halen.
There's times when I've been deeply indifferent

You would have been too pale and weak to take on the might of American Classic Rock. Sorry.

Yes crystal daze, Rotterdam 1983, that's it. Great quality. Great setlist. I am indebted to you if I can get the complete show.

Before we close this thread, one more note about Van Halen. When compared to the You Tube clips above, the band during the 2007/2008 concert tour were a shadow of their former selves. I still had a blast going to several shows around the country (including the standing blackout in Milwaukee, going from the encore to finding myself wandering the streets lost in an unfamiliar city). But I got the sense that the tour was more a business decision than doing it for the fans. To pay for the mortgage and other goodies. Following your lead, I started a "have you had it with the Van Halen's" thread on a VH site because of similar bitching about the lack of new music from the band. SACRILEGE!! That thread was pulled in less than a day. At least you guys have the balls to have a frank discussion and openly discuss and criticze your heros. Bravo!

They kicked out Michael Anthony. That was just plain lame-O!

VanHalen is the kind of band that - well I guess Dave can pull it off regardless of age - but really seem like the kind of band was meant for "their" time and should have quit while they were ahead.

Maybe. Don't forget I had Dungeons & Dragons club after school, so you would have had to wait around until my mom picked me up.
