Jack, resorting to stupid namecalling makes you look more of a dickhole than me.

The standard of posts and threads on the other side has nothing to do with lack of news, lack of anything interesting to say, lack of movement of the band, its the odd few that deem it necessary to bombard the forum with stupid illiterate threads. If that is being a Diva WAH then so be it. People used to be able to have intelligent conversation over there, and that is nothing that hasn't been said here by loads of people.

I don't understand where the hostility is coming from but considering the source, I wont give it a further thought

In fact that's been pretty much the MO over there, promise, promise, promise and never deliver. And I'm not blaming Peter since it's obviously out of his hands I would think.

I agree mate, that is all I was trying to say myself.

Jack I really think it's time you took stock of your life to see if this is really how you want to live.

Or are you saying the people at the official forum are lame? That's quite diva.

Of course it's the lack of news that has caused piss poor threads on other site. The same thing happened before Flowers and then Siberia came out. The endless samey samey threads, because there was nothing to discuss. I'd expect the Ocean Rain live album will probably get a few talking (who bought it) about that and then there will be a hive of activity if and when The Fountain comes out with threads praising and reviewing it track by track, beat by beat, others saying its a pile of shite and the Bunnymen are a chicken in the basket act and they won't bother any more (again), how they look forward to the Fountain tour, blahdy blah blah.

I think the one difference about VT is that people can talk about general shite, offend each other and that keeps the threads rolling. Remove that and I bet you that anyone logging on here would see "48 days ago by Bunnydiva" at the end of each thread. Meanwhile, tumbleweed would roll across the threads where no living soul has visited for a very very long time. I visited one of those the other day and nearly died when I read one suggestion saying that Cooking Vinyl should put out "Hide & Seek" as the Bunnymen's next single. Another poster enthuastically suggested that Posh Spice and Mac should do a duet and go on tour together following on from the success of "Top of The World". Post traumatic stress disorder. I'm not going back there. It's dark, lonely and horrible. I'm still having flash backs.

Holy Lord guitarplayer you are a stronger man than most. Why would you do that to yourself?

I agree with what Guitar Player said. I'm glad I found this site- it cracks me up and helps me get [s]through[/s] around my day at work.

I can't imagine U2 fans talking about their band the way you guys talk about EATB on here... I like people who don't take themselves too damn seriously.

Well if we're being honest here we kind of look down on all the bunny wunny stuff. For example there's no posting happy bunnyday for band member birthdays ever.
