Your top ten songs of all time

We know there is more to life than the music of the Bunnymen. Talk about those other bands here.

I am going to say I feel strongly that "Cold Swet" is the Sugarcubes best.

I was all about that Sugarcubes record when it came out. Yeah Cold Sweat is a good track. I like Delicious Demon and Sick for Toys, too.

I'm a sucker for a simple minor key guitar riff - Cold Sweat, Over The Wall, Clash cover of Black Cadicllac, Just Like Honey, Personal Jesus, you name it - I probably like it.

If we were in a bar right now, would we be raising our glasses to the minor key guitar riff? I think we would.

If the jukebox worked! Otherwise, we would all have to run across the street to another bar.

One of my favorite Sugarcubes song's is Deus. Pretty awesome song. They actually have a good number of really good songs. Totally overshadowed or forgotten since Bjork's solo career took off.

Yes another good one. Guess I'm listening to that record now....

Ever hear deus?

This song reminds me of one of the few Dashiell Hammett and Raymond Chandlier stories I've read.

Torn between the live video and the the awful fan video

Weird live in what way?

Think "Birthday" is my favourite.

My personal favourite of Mama is not actually the version on Life's Too Good, but the remixed version that later appeared on the It's It compilation (Mark Saunders mix). That album also had a cool remix of Water. Planet is another fav.

Sorry Moses - but I felt the same way - so I am going to be an Einar-

For me, it was Einar Örn Benediktsson incessant talking throughout songs live. On the cd, his voice had its place. Live, he kept yapping to the point of aggravation on the part of the other bandmates.

But I only saw them live once and a recorded live show once. Same case both times.

Guess it wasn't that bad, though, as the band did a reunion show. Einar also seems to have toned it down.

Careful, Uncle Hip, that's in Icelandic and a potential freak magnet.
