I don't know what that is.

With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

It's a little too experimental for my tastes. I like Pete's drumming and Will's guitar but I prefer my music to be a little catchier. There's definitely some interesting sounds to be heard and it's a damned sight better than Fuel and The Subject.

Besides the Killing Moon I think some other perfect Bunnymen songs are

Clay
Heads Will Roll
Porcupine
Going Up
Simple Stuff
Villiers Terrace
No Dark Things
Show of Strength
Heaven Up Here
Crocodiles

Edgy but still a strong melody.

Nice 1 mate think I quoted that one cos its the other end of the spectrum that weve been treated to for god knows how long.. Id rather they started doing pub back rooms with a drum machine, playing stuff that a record company's going to tut tut at cos theres no obvious single. Get experimental boys!

Withahip has been pushing for Will to do a Glide album and allow Mac to sing on it for some time now.

I would like to see a producer like Steve Albini, Nick Lowe or someone else who'll roughen up the edges.

Or hell reform Electrafixion.

Jack's always had a problem understanding people from Boston.

happy_loss wrote:Cracking on Over the Hall and now the entire album ?!?!? You have made a life long nemesis! The production on HUH is brilliant!!! I'll admit I'm biased as the drums are mixed way up on it, and I'm a drummer, but the whole ambiance and sound of that album is stellar! But, to each their own I suppose.........

Now hold on, I never trashed HUH. It's a great album, but the production on it is very dated and too "hard" sounding for lack of a better word, IMO. HUH has some great songs on it, Over the Wall isn't one of them, though. It's not a bad song, but...

I also agree about The Disease sounding MUCH better live. I remember hearing the live version on the remastered HUH and thinking "what the hell is this??" It almost sounds like a different song, a much better song, IMO. And that goes back to the production of the album. At least partially.

Also, I love the demo of HUH, pretty raw, but also pretty awesome.
