As their 25th anniversary approaches, art-rock band The Church, having recently returned from international touring, are continuing to push the boundaries of what a rock band should be. I will check it out. When I was a kid and went to the vinyl record shops, I would stare at the import solo Kilbey and Piper solo imports wondering what they must sound like. I couldn't afford the import prices with my allowance and lawn mowing money.

I also failed to by a heavy extra priced vinyl version of EATB's Songs To Learn adn sing which I am certain had the extended flute version of Dancing Horses. I always wondered what extras were in that album, too.

Got my tix. Fantastic venue, small with great acoustics. British Sea Power, Peter Murphy and others put on great shows.

Tortoise is playing there this month. Hmmmmm . .. .
