Or maybe HBO so we can see some full on boobs?
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

This news isn't too shocking, they lost me a few episodes ago.

Hey I was a big advocate of the show for a long time, but this season was really really bad. That last episode with the alternate future might be a good way to end it anyway.

That's funny, I thought the show was the strongest it's ever been lately.

I just really thought the Weaver/John Henry stuff was laughable. That really killed it for me.

I think we glossed over the topic of boobs a little too quickly.

You're right. But let's see what the boob-baring potential would be, shall we?

I've done some research of the principal female cast members, and their prior nudity.

Lena Headey (Sarah Connor):
previously nude in "Aberdeen", "Waterland" & "300" and has done some nearly nude photo shoots

Summer Glau (Cameron):
no previous nude scenes or photos but a LOT of fake nude photos on the web

Shirley Manson (Catherine Weaver):
no intentional nude scenes though a few wardrobe malfunctions, particularly at the VH1 Fashion Awards.

Leven Rambin (Riley - deceased):
no nude scenes or photos that I could find

Stephanie Jacobsen (Jesse - deceased):
nothng that I could find, and I tried pretty hard

So if they were gonna go HBO, they'd definitely have to come up with some more actresses to bare their stuff, or pay their current castmembers better to do so. Sounds like Lena Headey would be game. Summer Glau would be a tough sell.

Summer Glau

Firefly
Review by btyal182 (12/30/2004)

Rating:
Scene Description:
Nude from the side

Comment:
This rather attractive girl (who looks like a brunette version of Leelee Sobieski) appears nude from the side in the two-part pilot "Serenity" when the crew open the box and discover her there. She then wakes up and crawls out of the box (the camera positioning and editing keeps the viewer from seeing anything). Rather disappointing exposure from her, as fellow cast members Nathan Fillion and Jonathan Woodward were quite willing to drop their pants in later episodes. Here's hoping she'll do a decent scene in the future...

This 2002 publicity photo of Summer Glau's stunt double, Olivia Lyn Yojana, was taken during the filming of the teaser for the episode “Our Mrs. Reynolds.” Olivia was substituting for Summer in scenes of River frolicking in the water. Summer Glau's parents were unhappy with her earlier decision to appear nude in the pilot episode of Firefly. For that reason Summer told Joss Whedon, “You'll see God before you see me naked again.”
