Wow, this last episode of Terminator was maybe the best of the series so far. Just excellent.

This is on my Tivo but I have lost interest in this show. The last few episodes have been so terrible, especially those John Henry scenes. I didn't evven finish last weeks. I'll give it another go with this episode if you insist on it's excellence.

It's a good one. Little Savannah even takes a stab at "not the mommy" Shirley Manson - "you can't sing".

So the cyborg is a dog lover. Excellent plot twist.

I don't think the cyborg is a cyborg in this particular version of the future.

Smart alec aside- It was a good show for me, a first time viewer, to catch. Did he see himself in the end?

No, that was his dad - Kyle Reese.

In that version of the future, nobody had heard of John Connor, probably because he didn't get back after the time traveling. Since Cameron was at Kyle Reese's side, I'm thinking he's the leader of the resistance in this version of the future.

The Cameron he saw in the future was the real human of which the metal Cameron is a copy.

That would be my guess, since dogs hate terminators.

Well, the show just got real cool which is nice since this and Rescue Me are turning out to be better than the actual movies on HBOs and Showtimes.

Digging Tudors, too.

Let's hope not. I had to Google to find out what was up. "Live" ratings are low, however, DVR and on-demand (Hulu) ratings are huge. I must admit, I rarely watch any program when it originally airs. Still, some shows have seen a second life on cable. Maybe they should drop it from Fox and move it over to FX. We could hear swear words and see side-boobs that way ;)

The Sarah Connor Chronicles: is this the end?
Simon Brew

Poor ratings for the last episode of Sarah Connor Chronicles could have confirmed what many fear…
Published on Apr 14, 2009

The ratings have come in for the 22nd and final episode of The Sarah Connor Chronicles' second season, and even the most loyal fan of the show is likely to see the writing emblazoned on the wall. The season finale brought in 3.6 million viewers, failing to get a lift for its last episode, and that's likely to be a number that - no matter how much of a lift that the show gets from the likes of TiVo - sees Fox reaching for the plug.

This, of course, would be a very bad move. It's not just us that's seen The Sarah Connor Chronicles emerges as one of the very best scripted shows on television right now, and not just in the sci-fi and geeky sphere. Superb writing, interesting narrative, strong direction and good acting rarely have converged quite so confidently in recent times, but the numbers have, in spite of a solid core following, never really stacked up.

Fox hasn't made any announcement or decision either way on the fate of a third series of the show, but there are few of us out there who don't think that Sarah Connor will be getting the chop, no doubt to make way for some new, shitty reality show. This is one story where we'd be very, very happy to be proven wrong, though...
