The girl riding a cock thing, not Jack's cat thing.
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

Yeah, that video's a lot more fun to watch, with that in mind. And we all know you like when Jack's cat rides your cock. Your secret's safe with us.

Wow - lot's to think about there! Gonna have to work my way though the videos over the Easter weekend. See what the competition is like......the Chameleons reference will warm my singers heart. He's a massive fan. We don't cover any of their stuff but they always get talked about......thanks for some kind words about our Killing Moon cover by the way........keep the cover comments flowing.............

But your cat meowing the Killing Moon sounds totally rad and I can't for the YouTube video.

I'd say WAYGTDWYL is kinda the exact opposite of Porcupine since there wasn't any creative input from anyone in the band (Pete's gone, Les left after 1 song, most of Will's guitar was deleted by the producer) except for Ian. It's like Porcupine's kryptonite. Really, it's Ian's best solo album with some guest guitar from Will. The problem is it's called Echo and the Bunnymen. Why? Well, I think we all know the answer to that one. And to be honest, it MIGHT be the best Bunnymen album since the band got back together. I still say Siberia, but WAYGTDWYL is #2, maybe a close #2.

Here is a suggestion for a covers set-list, taken from the "Best" folder on my media player. Get practicing, and make sure to get the Mo Tucker drumming on Heroin perfect.

Tears -The Chameleons
Second Skin-The Chameleons
Flaming Red- Echo & the Bunnymen
Bedbugs & Ballyhoo- Echo & the Bunnymen
Avalanche- Echo & the Bunnymen
White Rabbit-Jefferson Airplane
In Bluer Skies- Echo & the Bunnymen
Willows Song-Magnet
Baseball Bill (Avalanche track 8 version)- Echo & the Bunnymen
Supermellowman- Echo & the Bunnymen
Ill Fly tonight- Echo & the Bunnymen
Too Young to Kneel- Echo & the Bunnymen
Razors Edge-Electrafixion
Heroin-The Velvet Underground
Timebomb-Electrafixion
Angels and Devils- Echo & the Bunnymen
My Kingdom- Echo & the Bunnymen
Ocean Rain- Echo & the Bunnymen

I'm glad to see at least one other person wants to see Avalanche played live somewhere

That was Electrafixion, actually - and its inclusion on a Bunnymen re-release as good an excuse as any to legitimize the introduction of some 'fixion tunes into the setlist - Never, Mirrorball, Sister Pain...

Okay - back from a weekend Easter break - had sometime to think about those videos and my thoughts are these;-

withahip:-
Stormy Weather - just terrible - very polite, oriental version with no guts....
Do It Clean - yeah - not bad - bit ragged but okay
Killing Moon - shocking
Killing Moon - shocking
Killing Moon - shocking

Frankthebunny:-
Killing Moon - The Quakes - sort of Lonnie Donegan meets the Stray Cats - diiferent!
Killing Moon - Aussie Christmas Party - just terrible - White Stripes meets my Grandad.
Killing Moon - Subway Riders - too close to the original - no imagination....
Killing Moon - Emma the girl. Better looking than our lead singer. Bit of a strange version though.

Covers to do:-

Yep - gonna have to check thoses Chameleon songs out........
Ballyhoo/Baseball Bill - gonna have to give those a go too.....
Heroin not sure about - Waitin' for the man is definitely on the agenda.........

Keep those cover suggestions coming - always food for thought......
