What is the name of the all girls band Ian managed and wrote songs for in the 90's?

I thought this was an urban legend or, at the very least, the figment of someone's imagination.

Were they allegedly from Scotland, or was that another imaginary band he once managed?

I think the letter "L" was in their name. It's a shame the official board was reset because I remember this "news" being posted over there. As I recall, no one responded to that bit of information either.

With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

Yup. So the other band named themselves after a Liverpool postcode?

I thought L7 supported the Bunnymen at a couple of their Christmas gigs at the Academy, if they were girls they were absolute munters!

spice girls?
A kite is a contract of glory
that must be made with the sun,
so you make friends with the field
the river and the wind,
then you pray the whole cold night before,
under the travelling cordless moon,
to make you worthy and lyric and pure.
