Fav Cocteau Twins Record

We know there is more to life than the music of the Bunnymen. Talk about those other bands here.

or cd -

I always thought it would be Treasure but lately Four Calender Cafe and Milk & Kisses are in a tie for first place.

Heaven or Las Vegas

Its a tie - Heaven Or Las Vegas and Head Over Heels
Mr. Brian, I find that offensive.

Scouser's inability to se others' point of view is rather grating.

One of my faves.

Heaven or Las Vegas and Sunburst and Snowblind are up there too but it's hard to choose.
Every word is like an unnecessary stain on silence and nothingness.

Ok I will take Fingers as a vote for Blue Bell Knoll and Cico Buff a vote for Blue Bell Knoll.

This is also a fantastic album though not listed as the Twins.

oo difficult one, as in changes all the time, though round here at Cherry Mansions I'm having a bit of a cocteaus phase .

Probably Sigh's Smell of Farewell or Orange Appled (especially the "yor de diddliday" bits)
Loves Easy Tears
Iceblink Luck
All of Treasure, and all of Victorialand. Though just this morning I have been listening to CD2 of vol 2 of lullabies to violane. I have not really done this before because the acoustic versions on CD 1 are a bit iffy if you ask me as are the mark clifford remixes on the start of CD2, but the Tishbite and Violane B sides are, as we would say around here, awesome. yes I said it - awesome.

ANyone look at guthries weblog at all? Makes scouser sound like the jolly pocket postman.

Yeah, Guthrie is miserable.

I saw the band live a long time ago and could not recognize most of the songs till well into them because he did not reproduce any of the guitar sounds from the album and Fraser's voice was not echoplexed. Not bad, but definitely not the same.

In addition, Guthrie has the stage presence of a mafia boss. Standing there with big jaw chews of gum looking bored out his mind, he made Jim Reid look happy.
