Come on, it's only been 12 years!

We know there is more to life than the music of the Bunnymen. Talk about those other bands here.

With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

It would be the equivalent of the Bunnymen doing the Ocean Rain shows in 1996 which would not have been a bad thing. 12 years is ancient history for music and I'm not so sure Jason will make it to a 25th anniversary show

Pete still would be dead so it would have been the same to me.

I've always been a little suspicious of the Spacemen 3 drug usage claims.

Be suspicious of any band on a major label putting out coherent music (good or bad) on a regualr basis claiming they were wasted all the time.

That's what always amazed me about Spirtualized and J Spaceman, he seems like a workaholic but if you're doing heroin all day wouldn't that be a little hard to pull off?

It could all be bullshit, but I think he definitely has done his share of drugs. When I saw them awhile back he stood still the whole show with his eyes closed, he had a guitar but I don't remember if he ever strummed it. Great show!

Also, didn't he almost die a couple years back? What was that all about?

He could be both. I mean hash is not heroin. Working during the day and then getting stoned to see if you enjoy the music you made is not that much of a challenge if you don't have a full time desk or dock job.

Also, an addictive personality can be so in more ways than drugs. A workaholic for five days and then an alcoholic for five is possible. Don't most do it for five days and then th weekend?

It is said at AA meetings people just substitute the coffee and nicotine for the beer.

I think it was a really bad case of pneumonia or something like that.
