So Scouser's Pet Shop Boys post got me thinking about the Damned
My favorite song by them and I guess it's about the relationship between James Dean and Vampira.

With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

There's these great videos on youtube of the 1982 gig in Germany where some chick spiked Vanian's drink with acid right before the show. Probably wasn't funny at the time but it's pretty hilarious now. Looks like they unplugged his mic.
