Leonard Cohen tour dates!

We know there is more to life than the music of the Bunnymen. Talk about those other bands here.

Jesus Christ! Who books his shows? WaMu Theatre is one of those cavernous locations where they do boat shows and home shows. http://wamutheater.com/groups.php

You'd think he'd at least go for some place with a little flavor -

The Paramount, perhaps? http://www.theparamount.com/about/history.asp
Or Benaroya Hall? http://www.seattlesymphony.org/benaroya/view/

I've always thought that Canadians were like Americans, but tackier. WaMu Theatre proves that.

Oh, and zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

I thought (hoped) he was dead.
Mr. Brian, I find that offensive.

Scouser's inability to se others' point of view is rather grating.

He was musically after he dropped the guitar for a Woolies keyboard.Still his early stuff is majestic.

For "majestic" read "total bollocks"

I saw him on TV once, maybe Austin City Limits or something, and I just stared at the TV like a dog does when he's confused. I was trying to find a hint of anything that makes me understand why people adore him so much. I got nothing.

He has wrote some great songs. They seem to come right from the heart, so you can make allowances. But Mac sings them far better. Laughing Len's voice was never exactly credible, but could be getting even worse with age.
There are people, with a fraction of the voice Mac had at his peak, who can still kick ass-Mark Burgess, James Yorkston or even Bob Dylan-but there does come a limit when enough is enough.

The fact WaMu is allowed tohave its name on anything is sick enough.

Yeah... I hear ya. They've got their name on that, plus two now half-vacant office towers within 5 blocks of my business. The absence of thousands of WaMu employees is definitely felt.

When you give out tons of big loans requiring no proof of income that will happen.
