My Bloody Valentine Live Shows

We know there is more to life than the music of the Bunnymen. Talk about those other bands here.

As much as I love MBV, I can't imagine them live. Has anyone here ever seen them?

My favorite MBV song live

Unfortunately they've been known to do that 30 minute noise/jam crap. I think their sound guy quit mid Loveless tour cause he felt the band was being irresponsible to the concert goers hearing.

Bring ear plugs and a book with you and you'll make it through the offending 30 minutes.

Saw them in 88 in Birmingham supporting a twee indie band called The Brilliant Corners in a small club.Ear bursting PA and no discernible tunes.Bilinda played (oh yes) 2 string guitar!Top E and B.Awful.Then saw them on the Rollercoaster tour (J & MC,Dr Jr,Blur,MBV) post loveless and they were brilliant.Filled the huge Birmingham NEC with feedback and (only) a 15 minute white noise frenzy.Very tempted to go to London Roundhouse.

According to rumour they will be playing Coachella 2008 Festival, so I would not be surprised if they add another couple of US dates......

I wouldn't pay to see Elvis and Roy Orbison if they were playing at Coachella. Hopefully they'll play some additional dates in the US. I wonder if the anticipation for them is as great here as it seems to be in the UK. If sh*t sells out in six minutes I'm wwwwaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyy too slow witted to get on that action in time.
