It looks to be a loooong tour.

Bunnymen.com will be announcing the dates and venue for the first solo

this annoys me. all that hype about more ocean rain gigs. and the new fountain album... and what do we get as an announcement?? MAC SOLO DATES????

whatever. i like Ian and all, but I want a BUNNYMEN show.

(plus i am more of a Will fan than an Ian fan... just sayin...)

I agree on that.

I just found the typo in the email funny.

Finally got the email. I can't figure out what he was trying to say. Maybe it was supposed to be "for this year" not "for years." I've given up on trying to decipher the scribblings.

Your loss, because if you line up all the scribblings in a grid, you get words on the diagonal that predict all sorts of things, including Hitler's invasion of Sweden.

Hitler's going to invade Sweden? Does President Roosevelt know?

Mac solo is still better than any Bunnymen show (other than Radio City) I've seen. Not because Will is missing but the venue was smaller, you could understand Mac and his charisma really shined through. And best of all he was playing guitar like a mad man.
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

i have never seen an Ian solo show, so I can't really compare, but I love the energy at a Bunnymen show... i do like the smaller venue thing though... that's always good. :)

Is there another Mac solo album in the works? Surely he has enough ballads for another one.

Maybe The Fountain will be released as a solo album, with Will guesting on a track or two

I think it was supposed to be "in years."

Maybe the email work has been outsourced to Russia.

Or maybe Peter wrote it. Hey, you can't expect a guy to spell correctly and form an understandable, grammatically correct sentence. So back off, you jerk!
