Bunnymen Music Recommendations

Has anyone seen this on Amazon.com? It's a list of music recommendations from Will and Ian.

I didn't realize I knew who Jacques Brel is. Thanks to this board.

Mac's list is a little dull if you ask me. It's great music, but not exactly full of revelations.

i bought the Nuggets box set a while back. it's a great collection. some of those other recommendations on Will's list are a little too prog for my taste. Mac's list is kinda predictable only because we have heard him praise bowie and leonard cohen and the like so frequently. i do like all those songs tho.

There's another Will playlist (dated 20 September 2005) on the French iTunes site.

Kraftwerk, "Trans Europe Express"
Roxy Music, "Virginia Plain"
Pink Floyd, "Flaming"
David Bowie, "John, I'm Only Dancing"
Aphrodite's Child, "The Four Horsemen"
Brian Eno, "Lizard Point"
The Seeds, "Tripmaker"

Search and Destroy is pretty bad ass so good for Mac there and his cover of "Waiting For the Man" is way better than the original.

I'm surprised the Ronettes weren't included. I thought they were on his desert island collection.
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts
