The Cure - Pornography

We know there is more to life than the music of the Bunnymen. Talk about those other bands here.

The Cure - Pornography

Been listening to the album at work today and Jesus fucking Christ I can't believe I worshipped the album when I was a teen. I must have been one miserable, zit faced, little fucker.

Still like the songs "Pornography", "The Hanging Garden" and "Cold" though.
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

Cold, A Strange Day, and The Figurehead were and are still so amazing that I am blinded to the fact that I thought the rest of the cd was ok.

Especially A Strange Day is so uber delicious.

I love it from beginning to end - even now Im in my 40's...
Mr. Brian, I find that offensive.

Scouser's inability to se others' point of view is rather grating.

Still love it myself, it's my fave Cure album.........

Should try and listen to the Demo of The Hanging Garden on the remastered discs, it sounds completely different and very poppy.........

I don't know. As I've gotten older I've been less attracted to darker stuff (musically and in film). I still think "100 Years" is still one of the most amazing songs ever but I do roll my eyes a bit when I listen to the lyrics.

I've always been a "Head On the Door" kinda guy anyways.

I couldn't find just the clip where Robert Smith shows up (about 2:48 in) and saves the day, Jesus says "Our Savior!" and Kyle yells: "Disintegration is the best album ever!" as Robert Smith walks off into the sunset. Good times. Good times.
