Wall-E

withahip bought a copy for my kids when he came out to visit and I think it is my new favorite movie EVER.
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

I must make clear that my card carrying Republican children (George and George) were appalled at the blatantly liberal enviromental message the film carried. I had to force them to finish watching it so as not to hurt withahip's (I mean Daddy's) feelings.

I thought Wall-E did not live up to the hype and was a little dull. Pixar has made much better films.

I've seen Toy Story & The Incredibles, along with several shorts.

Based on that:
1. Knick Knack
2. The Incredibles
3. Toy Story

For some reason with The Incredibles, Cars and Ratatouille I didn't give a shit about the characters.

I love that a conservative corporation makes a tree hugging movie made to sell tons of their useless products which end up in land fills. When I saw it in the theater, I was amazed at how many of the people leaving the theater looked like the people on the ship.

So is the conservative message to hurt the environment?

I would rank Incredibles as Pixar's best. I guess it would be Toy Story and Monsters after that.

Can we all agree Cars and Ratatouille sucked?

They were certainly oddballs in the Pixar collection. There was a lot I admired about Ratatouille, and I liked the theme, but it suffered from the same dullness as Wall-E. I think they tried to get overly artistic with both films. Also, I couldn't get past controlling the guy by pulling his hair. What?

Cars was just not very memorable. Also, cars are not a very ambitious subject for a Pixar film (neither are robots for that matter.)

You've never pulled your lady's hair Jack?

What I didn't like about Ratatouille is the rat was an asshole. It's like be happy you're not living in the sewer motherfucker. You need credit for the cooking too or you're gonna steal from your "friend"? And Cars? Anyone else here tired of Owen Wilson?

All I know is when I thought Wall-E was going to never remember Eve I was this close
