Has anyone seen "Godfather of Punk" Jonathan Richman play a live show within the last year or two? He'll be here on Thursday, at a small venue. I would like to go, if the old guy's got some fire to him. But I fear a man-with-acoustic-guitar experience.

I suspect you're getting the full on man with accoustic guitar treatment which only works when you're dealing with Mac or Frank Black.
