I grew up hating hippies and now some really good bands have beards. And this bums me out.

Does that really count as a beard? That might count as a beard in progress, but he never really committed to it did he?
I've grown a full beard before and quite frankly I didn't care for it. It made me look ten years older than I was and just eating food seemed like a hygiene nightmare. I'd rather shave every day than deal with that.
