i totally forgot about the Singles soundtrack from the 90s that was a great one too...

As a Seattleite, I don't know how I could've forgotten that one. (I was an even an extra in the Alice in Chains concert scene, and my sister was in the video for the Paul Westerberg track, Dyslexic Heart)

David Lean films have good (orchestral) soundtracks - Dr Zhivago and Lawrence Of Arabia in particular
