I didn't care for Mystics I guess and other than that not much has been happening. Mystics seemed like a bunch of b-sides from Yoshimi.

I'm still undecided on Christmas on Mars.

To me the Flaming Lips represent eternal optimism and always reaching for grand things even if you sometimes come up a bit short. Probably why I can't hold the 90210 performance or corporate party performances against them like I would any other band.

Plus Wayne Coyne's opening notes for the Crystal Days box set is probably the best summation of what makes the Bunnymen great I have ever read.

I think Wayne has always insisted that except for Steven Drozd heroin use, that drugs never really played a part in the Flaming Lips and
Wayne has stated that he has not taken any drugs since his 20's.
