Chinese Democracy to see the light of day

We know there is more to life than the music of the Bunnymen. Talk about those other bands here.

Chinese Democracy to see the light of day

Postby Frank The Bunny » Sat Nov 15, 2008 11:09 am

It seems the Axl-only Guns N' Roses' album "Chinese Democracy" is finally gonna see the light of day. And Dr. Pepper lost the bet. They're giving out free soda.

First single's out now. Can't be worse than the Chris Cornell / Timbaland pile o' shit, can it?

I always said it was gonna be the greatest album of all time or the biggest pile of shit ever. After hearing Chinese Democracy I'm leaning towards the latter.
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

A kid was singing Sweet Child O' Child Mine the other day. He looked at me - must have been about 12 - and said, "Do you know that band Guns 'N Roses? They're classic rock."

True story.

I thought classic rock was the Stones, the Eagles and Fleetwood Mac.

That's code for a closeted fan of GNR. It's okay, I'm not ashamed to say I own all the albums and still have a t-shirt or two laying around. GNR are the last rock band to have a genuine sense of danger and the unpredictable about them and it holds true even today.

Hah! Made you 'fess up

I thought the Bunnymen had a sense of danger and unpredictability about them.

They had that mystery and rock & roll danger. I think it died the day they played with the Spice Girls.
