Remember when we couldn't discuss this?

With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

All I know is I get pissed off when strangers walk into my bathroom. Mac shoulda fucked them both up.

I'm glad there was a trial since it was all a thinly veiled attempt to extort money out of him or the band. Since the charges were dismissed, a civil case is unlikely.
At the time I googled the penalty for an assault guilty verdict. I think the most he could have received was 6 months. So for two counts of assault he was facing up to a year in jail.
This case should never have gone to trial. It was on the level of a Judge Judy case. Yet, a different verdict would have had far reaching consequences.
If I had been hit in the head by the toilet door I would wear my scar proudly and stop everyone and point at it and say, "See this? This is where Ian McCulloch smashed me in the head with a toilet door." And then I'd laugh hysterically.
