New Cure album

Anyone heard it? In these credit crunch / recession times I'm limiting my music purchases so was just looking for abit of guidance before I part with a tenner...

It's ok, I quite like it but am a bit of a saddo.......

I think I just fed my head with as much Cure as I can. If the band put out the best album of their career I don't think it would register with me. It has nothing to do with the band anymore.

The Cure have acheived the "I will buy anything they put out based soley on the strength of their previous releases" status. Plus the last one wasn't half bad and as long as it isn't Coachella, they're great live.

After a weekend of listening to it by candlelight in a dark bedroom..... I can confirm that it is a pretty darn good album, seems Smithers has regained some of his Mojo.....

Listened to it yesterday. First impression was not bad, but I don't like it as much as the last album. Think it is one that will need more than one listen to get into it.

Sad pretentious goth wank music like the rest of his ridiculous output.Oh how the mugs have coughed up over the years.I could punch his face on the front cover of the NME.Overrated twat.With lipstick.And scared of flying.Nancy.

Asking Robert Smith to lighten up is like asking Trent Reznor to stop being angry.
That being said, Smith has written a bunch of great upbeat pop songs.

That review is shooting fish in a barrel.
