[o]Sorry to say but I didn't like the drumming of Michael K Lee. He seems so anmaßend. And as if he was playing solo all the time.[/o]

I voted for Reece, but that is mostly based on his work with Spiritualized. Although he was great on Reverberation as well.

Finley would be up there with him. Is he the drummer on the new album? I don't think he is, but it'd be cool if he was.

BTW. I didn't even know this forum existed, I see some old posters that have taken refuge here!

I hope the drums on this new album are pronounced enough for me to have a new favorite drummer besides Pete.

Not gonna happen. I was watching the old Porcupine videos and Pete's definitley stands out in those videos. I've never seen a drummer before or since with that much intensity even on the slower tracks like Porcupine.

I now think the current drummer, Nick?, is the best since Pete. After seeing him at the recent shows and hearing him nail Show Of Strength on Frank's recent bootleg, I think he's way up there.

Who is this current drummer? He knew the subtleties of the Ocean Rain songs. Easy or not, Pete's drumming makes the band's music.

Yes, Paul Fleming was on keys but I think that was his last show with the Bunnymen :frown:

Unless the guy is awesome with the keyboard guitar, he can probably be replaced without too much trouble.

But I know Paul is the second cutest member in the band so in that respect I feel badly for the ladies.
