I really wonder what exactly the Republican VP Selection Committee had as criteria.
Almost as good a group as those not voting for today's 'rescue bill' or version thereof.

A vagina.

I would have said breasts but many men have breasts these days. As well as estrogen.

Seemingly, more like desperation. There are way hotter, accomplished
women than her, but that's who they chose. Lucky us.

You're missing the point. She has the crazy eye. Most guys dig that even if they are unwilling to admit it.
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

John Cafferty tells us how he really feels about Sarah Palin:

A 72 year old heart beat from the presidency.

According to the Los Angeles Times, Sarah Palin met a local music teacher shortly after she became mayor of Wasilla, Alaska. During their conversation, she insisted that humans and dinosaurs coexisted when earth was created 6,000 years ago.

When Philip Munger, the teacher, confronted her with the fact that science has conclusively demonstrated that dinosaurs died out 65 million years ago, by looking at fossils and tracks, she insisted that she had seen pictures of human footprints inside dinosaur tracks.

so had that teacher performed that research himself or at least read the original papers or had he read it in a book, or seen it on the telly.

I am not sure which teacher you are referring to, but they are both Americans so I am going to go out on a limb and say chances are they both got their info. from T.V. Is it any different in the U.K.?

no, 99.99999999% of us are the same in getting our knowledge and facts from secondary and even lower level sources such as the telly and so acceptance of the facts and proof requires a certain amount of faith - i.e., that all those brainy scientists know what they are on about.

good cartoon though

Uh there's dinosaurs still around today.

I had to edit my post from a few minutes ago, since I hadn't realized the
CitiGroup purchase of Wachovia fell apart, and now Wells Fargo is the
victor of Wachovia. I think all of it, banking and asset mgmt.

I really want to get off this ride...
