Blinki is trying to convince me to make a trip to the annex. Brian, thanks for the picture. I'm sure I won't have any trouble spotting you and black francis. :mrgreen:

What you think moonies and red? It's not like we need to be anywhere bright and early wednesday.

BTW I think it's funny that it happens to be "Clear Channel Sucks" night.

Hey Guys,

I want to take a moment to clear the air on all this...

First off, I screwed up on the dates, I'll have some passes on Tuesday, September 30th at the Annex. I understand your reservations on this, but I'm really not trying to con anyone. Hell, I won't even be making any money from this, I just enjoy DJing for an hour every Tuesday, and I love Echo and the Bunnymen. The party is called Rebel Rebel, this is advertised on the Annex site. Every Tuesday night, we do a tribute to glam and all things spawned from glam, and every Tuesday, yours' truly spins 1 hour of a particularly great band of this general genre from 11-12, while we have an open bar. Again, there is no cover, and there is a free Vodka bar. I won't be profiting from your attendance, but it would be nice to share the time with some fans. I'll play one hour straight of Echo and the Bunnymen, and the DJ's who follow will intersperse Echo throughout their respective sets.

Second off, as far as the Official After-party, I am honestly on the fringe for this and can only tell you that I've been told. Special guests will be attending, but will NOT be DJing. I am not one of the organizers and have had NO CONTACT with the management of Echo and the Bunnymen. I am a musician/part-time DJ who happens to know one of the promoters involved in this Official After-party and when I heard about it, I simply asked him if I could attend, and he came back to me with the idea of letting me bring a few people with passes. Being as this is an "invite only" event, I don't see why Beauty Bar would bother to advertise it on their site.

Regardless, I can vouch for both venues as being a lot of fun. If you love Echo, I'm positive you will be happy with the music and atmosphere at both venues.

I hope I've covered everything. And again, I promise that I am not trying to rob or con anyone. I'm excited for the show and I'm glad to be a part of a few events surrounding it.
