Any bands you haven't modified your opinion on?

We know there is more to life than the music of the Bunnymen. Talk about those other bands here.

Any bands you haven't modified your opinion on?

When I was younger I thought listening to Danzig was pretty much the most evil thing I could do. I couldn't see any of the tongue in cheek, nudge, nudge, wink, wink element which now being a little older has deepened my appeciation for Danzig, Samhain and the Misfits. Similarly I thought of the Bunnymen as the most mysterious of bands along with The Cure, Joy Division and others. But now that we're all older and with the internet getting us into Mac's daughter's birthday party, a lot of that rock n' roll threat, mystery, etc is pretty much gone.

Any bands you still feel that way about?
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

I still love Rockwell as much as ever.

I was referring to mere mortal artist. Not a god like Rockwell.

I was just reminded of the time we went to that When In Rome Show in New Haven and you took all that X. Good times.

Ecstacy, baggy pants, glowsticks and When In Rome are always a recipe for good times.

I believed it back in the day when the media called Guns N' Roses the most dangerous band in rock n' roll and still feel the same about them. I know fat cherry thinks they're rubbish.

The Exploding Hearts will never change in my eyes either. Partly because they came fast, put out one of the greatest rock albums of all time then all but one were killed in a car crash. But mostly because of the music. They were just amazing.

Leonard Cohen.....always was, is, and always will be, a god!

and Sigur Ros, too!

Nick Cave is pretty close....but the last 2 -3 albums have gone just a teenie bit ever so slightly downhill, for me. Anything before Nocturama is pretty much still godlike in my eyes! (see me after he shaves that damn hideous moustache off, and maybe he will climb back up a notch! )

Looking at a moustache should not generally lead to a hearing impairment.
