The Radio City Show meetup...planning ahead

General discussion about the band, live shows, its recordings or bootlegs, etc. You can buy, sell or trade here. You can even post eBay links. If it's about the Bunnymen, it goes here.

BTW..........for anyone who's going to NYC...(at any time for any reason)....please do yourself a favour and BUY THIS GUIDE BOOK!!!!

http://www.amazon.ca/Knopf-CityMap-Guid ... 0375709517

throw everything else away! it's the best thing i've ever found and it's my bible when i'm in the city! i recommend it to everyone and they always tell me it was a great help! :-) it's small, which is one of its best features. it opens up by section and EVERY street is on there, so you can't get lost with it!! there's a few reviews on that link, if you wanna read more.

Thanks but do I want to be looking like a Midwestern goob walking around the streets with a NYC guidebook in hand? Is getting mugged just part of the experience too? What chapter is that?

Nah, it's not like the old days. People don't really get mugged in NY anymore, it seems. You will look like a dork, though.

Hmmm I may get this. With shipping it's only 4 bucks at Amazon. Thanks Red!

i got one a while back (from Red's recommendation) and it is helpful. they also make one for london, and lots of other major cities. i like drawing on the little maps the places i like to go to, so they are easier to find when i go back next time

So it looks like The Irish Rogue is out, since that's the meet up spot for U2 fans!
