If the Bunnymen ever joined one of those 80's nostalgia tours, flushing any remaining credibility down the toilet in the process, I swear to God I would never go and see them again!

I agree! I have an American friend who insists there was nothing happening music-wise in the 80's! :eek:
I have to thank England mostly for their contribution to music at that time. There were so many good bands imo like:


Ultravox, Shriekback, New Order, Talk Talk, Au Pairs, English Beat, Bauhaus, Heaven 17, Roxy Music, Damned, Gun Club, Haircut One Hundred, Scritti Politti, Depeche Mode, Individuals, Specials, Tom Verlaine, also the ones Mr. Brian and Zabird have mentioned.
Very few American bands on this list.

Not that anyone cares, but the only ones I'd like to see in concert on that list are, Television/Tom Verlaine, Talking Heads and REM.
I guess I never liked 80's American music. I fucking hate Missing Persons. I'd like to choke that girl! :lol: Remember, we as Americans were also blessed with Huey Lewis, Weird Al and countless others.
I'm sure there's many British bands I forgot to mention. :confused: I didn't mention Television or the Elevators because we all know Will likes them so they have to be good.

I guess I learned a lesson on the main forum again for my posting of this same thread huh? Oi vey....when will I learn to keep my ugly-butt mouth shut thinking that maybe things are "cool" now but actually they'll never be...


Yet, I still voted on this poll & the one on the main forum for our band...favoritism in them, never dies...

I can't believe Peter/management/anybody associated with the Bunnymen responded with:

"The Bunnymen would never lower them selfs to play such a joke tour."

If the money was right they'd do a Bat Mitzvah
