That's weird Ian would make the point of his voice being better than it has in the past. He seems loathe to admit any shortcomings especially his voice. This could a pretty big deal that something's changed. Going to NY is sounding that much better after reading this.
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

I'd like him to wear some new clothes. So tired of the same ripped jeans, hoodie and now the long black coat replacing the threadbare black suit jacket. How many years can he wear the same outfit???

Maybe it's his security blanket?

It'd be great if he got a new outfit for these gigs. We could lead a raid on his closet and abscond with the threadbare stuff, thus forcing him to do some shopping

hmmmm, wonder what the big non-Ocean Rain surprises are? A tour of the U.S., perchance? That's what somebody posted in the comments on one of the Bunnymen videos at Dr. Cheese's youtube site.

He was looking dapper solo 2003. Well except for his odd choice in footwear.

And I like his hair shorter. Not that I check out dudes or anything.

And no he wasn't wearing the army surplus outfit while on tour.

Is that his driver's license photo?

He's too blind to own one.
Wasn't he trying to look likr Richard Ashcroft then?

He mentioned two songs they're trying out and might play at the RAH. The songs are not from the Ocean Rain album, that's what I meant.

It's nothing as totally unexpected like No Dark Things or In Bluer Skies or anything like that, but I am fairly sure that they haven't played the songs in question in 20 years.

That said... I'm not going to tell which songs they are. People might get their hopes up too much - Ian said that they 'might' do them. Also, I wouldn't want to spoil the surprise...
Set sail in those turquoise days!

Clay, Porcupine and Heads Will Roll would be great.

A Promise for one of the songs. Haven't figured out the second one yet.
