I am trying not to be cynical so I'll just say Good luck Official Site!!!

Over the next 7 days you might notice loss of service from the
Official Echo & The Bunnymen website, Bunnymen.com (will not effect
the forum). For the last two months a team of testers have been
working on the website 'testing' to check the performance of the
website on our own server, basically this all part of a huge new
project that will let us keep up to speed with current & future web
developments to be undertaken over the next couple of years it also
means more excitingly we will have have complete freedom, unlimited
creativity, capable of broadcasting live video performances &
interviews, even richer media and lots more very exciting projects.
The easiest way to look at it is to say we are not paying a mortgage
anymore to a hosting company, we have bought the house.
Bunnymen.com will be in attendance at this years very prestigious
Best Of Manchester Awards 08 hosted by Peter Saville, Miranda Sawyer,
Caroline Elleray (Head of A&R at Universal Music Publishing) & Luke
Bainbridge (Observer Music Monthly) in recognition of Bunnymen.com
being an official entry.
You might be asking yourself "but are the bunnymen not from
Liverpool?", yes they are but the website is produced from the bands
Manchester (Chorlton Cum Hardy) offices, more details can be found
here: http://www.urbis.org.uk/page.asp?id=3093
A full report will follow after the awards.
We hope you all enjoyed the first Lancashire HotPod Podcast from Will
Sergeant, if you have not yet seen it "WHY NOT" check it out in the
Fans section on the website, we would love to hear what you think.

I'm sure we can expect the same degree of professionalism that we have always had with bunnymen.com.

Come on, now. It is apparent they took the time to hit the spell check before sending this note out. That's a step in the right direction.

Just the latest Great & Exciting News!

-Great News! The Bunnymen have been picked up by Korova! Being on an official label is important and great and exciting!
-Great News! Korova has been dissolved! This means The Bunnymen will be handled by Warners directly! Huzzah!
-Great News! The Bunnymen have been dropped by Warners! Now The Bunnymen have more control and can work with a label that is a better fit! Or no label at all!
-Great News! We can't afford web-hosting anymore! Now we can have our own in-house server under our full control! And it won't suck at all! Hip-hip-hurray!

-Great News! Forum members can get tickets in a double-secret special advanced pre-sale. They aren't good seats, but still, it's SPECIAL!

Speaking of sharing pornography, that last magazine you returned - Shemale Sasquatch Slutfest - pages 32 to 71 are completely stuck together.

Never again.
