We know there is more to life than the music of the Bunnymen. Talk about those other bands here.

And now somebody's swiped all their gear.

Saw the Stooges last year and they were surprisingly tame.

Ahh.
Every word is like an unnecessary stain on silence and nothingness.

That's odd. I thought Iggy always used to handle his own gear... or maybe that was only onstage

You mean the peanut butter and the glitter?

Dunno, but it was all in a rental truck that went missing from the hotel they were staying at, in Montreal. The other day, there was a bulletin making the rounds on myspace containing what looks like the complete list of stuff in the truck, including Marshall amps and Mike Watt's vintage bass.

'You only have to look at the man. He still appears to have been sculpted from granite, then had his skin shrink-wrapped around him, maintaining the celery-stick physique that seems the exclusive preserve of sexagenarian rock icons and former heroin addicts. Or both, in Iggy's case.

"I do a lot of swimming," he explains.'

Actually, I meant his "gear", his "junk" his "unit" his "package".
Iggy was famous for whipping it out and dangling it onstage back in the late 70's

aha! He liked to do a Jim Morrison, sorta. Nope, no such sightings. I saw Iggy in the late '70s too, but don't remember any displays of "gear" then either. Perhaps he was too distracted by the chick fight down front, or the guy who'd grabbed him around the ankle and wouldn't let go
