Exactly. Although they were only really good at going straight, or maneuvering to the left...

Nascar is on an oval track...

they only make left turns....

Yep. Occam's razor is always helpful. What is more likely: a lying or delusional ex-astronaut or a massive coverup of alien contact.

A massive alien cover up involving hundreds maybe even thousand of co-conspirators who work for the government sounds much more logical than the hearsay of one astronaut who founded his own new age study center and can produce not a single shred of physical proof of his claims.

You know he was lying, because not once did he mention that the aliens wear capes, even though he also said they are much more advanced than we are. A civilization that advanced would definitely be all about capes.
