Primal Scream - Beautiful Future

We know there is more to life than the music of the Bunnymen. Talk about those other bands here.

Primal Scream - Beautiful Future

Giving it the first listen right now (after nabbing it off The Pirate Bay).

"Suicide Bomb", "Necro Hex Blues" & "Urban Guerrilla" are the kind of noise I like.

"I Love To Hurt (You Love To Be Hurt)" sounds like something from Depeche Mode's trash bin

They'll never top XTRMNTR in my opinion!

It's a great album, I reckon the Bunnymen need to try something completely off the wall like this before they drown in a sea of MOR mediocrity.

Primal Scream To Play Screamadelica Live In Its Entirety
http://thequietus.com/articles/03748-pr ... s-entirety

To Mark the 20th anniversary of the release of their landmark album Screamadelica; Primal Scream have decided to treat their fans by performing the album live in full on November 27th at London’s Olympia.

Released in 1991; the Mercury Music Prize winning Screamadelica is regarded as one of the defining albums of the 1990s and the late Paul Cannell’s cover design has recently been selected by the Royal Mail as one of their ten classic rock stamps.

Some of the songs haven't been played live before and many haven’t seen the light of day for years so to help dust them off, they’ve expanded their lineup for the night with a gospel choir, brass section plus the one-off return of singer Denise Johnson.

At the time of the record’s release Bobby Gillespie said ‘We’ve actually made a classic record which people will be able to listen to in 40 years time and it will sound as relevant as it does now.’

Well, we’re half way there now so this is the chance to to see how his prediction is coming along

Let me know When In Rome to play their classic album "When In Rome" in its entirety. Then I'll get excited.
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts
