So Portugal has had a week off. Podolski had a calf injury. How did a Pol get on the German team? Did Germany start annexing land again?

Well, if the team that played Croatia shows up - it will be a long game.

Traitor - but apparently the Polish manager at the time said he didnt want/need him. He didnt last long.

Lubos Michel gave the refereeing performance of the tournament (Italy v France)

I was a referee for 17 years and when in Alaska nearly bought a stripy USA ref top.
