Yup. Wayne Coyne is in charge of the Italian entry.

I hope their draw tonight was of some consolation to you. Bonne Chance for later, unless of course the Irish No vote leads to the immediate cancellation of the rest of the tournament. If it means the end of the Eurovision song contest they will have done us all a favour.

PS Mr. Brian you need to get your spell check fixed, it is telling me that favour is wrong!!!!

Aye, it's looking like it, though I grudge saying that after the qualifiers last time round.

I went out after setting the video and forgetting to put a tape in. Just as well. :frown: Oh well, we might finally be getting rid of Astroboy.

Let's see if they bottle it in the q/finals. They've got a tough manager this time mind. He's the difference. I hope they go out tbh, if only to make my street less of a fire hazard, all taht orange gunk everywhere

Van Basten was possibly the best striker ever.

Dalglish best with back to goals.

Actually it was more the rest of Ireand says No

I voted Yes

Anyway
it looks like we are going to withdraw from the EU

I do not understand how the rest of Europe could not see it coming

First we started our love in with Northern Ireland

Then we decreased the amount of alcohol we drank by banning smoking in pubs here and taxing the be jaysus out of our drink ..this resulted in a significant decrease in our drink hobby..Once we woke up from the pure alcoholic stupor of 700 years we realised that we were wrong to be in the EU and in fact we should be the ones ruling the world
So we conspired not to qualify for Euro 2008.

And when the Euro 2008 championships are on (and the EU is partying) we have planned to attack

We have called our troops back from all overseas missions ( all 1000 of them).

Tommorow we will begin offensive millitary manouvres againts the EU

This will invovlve an aerlingus plane being dispatched with 20 tonnes of potatoes to drop on the EU council offices. Simultaneously all Ryanair Jets will depart from their EU airports and fly to Dublin where we will enure that all of Europes civilians have to live in Ireland for a week, eat pototoes , listen to Oirish music , be brainwashed about the virtues of speaking Irish and drinking Guinness ...

Next week we will send our elite troops (40 of them) to Brussels to take over the EU oh and nab that French blokes wife cos she is hot ... at the same time all of the world software is going to stop ( because most of it is produced in -- you guessed Ireland)

Chaos looms ...
