I'd vote for John Lydon in Pistols or PiL mode and Richard Butler. Still works the stage beautifully, and he's pushing 55 Siouxie Sioux too. Still extremely limber.

I was going to say Bono but I didn't want this to turn into the "I hate Bono he stole it all from the Bunnymen" thread that always happens when his name is mentioned.

Lydon is a great front man too. You can't not look at him when he is performing. Even all those ridiculous and pretentious faces he makes seem ok when he does it.

Lydon was in fine form Saturday night in Vegas. Except when he lifted his kurta and gave everybody an eyeful of his doughy, pasty white gut

Another can't-take-your-eyes-off-him frontman is Lux Interior of the Cramps. At least back in the day. The last time I saw them, I was too far away to see what Lux was up to on the stage.

Last night, I watched the first ep of "7 Ages of Rock," which ran on VH1 Classic several months ago, and they had vintage footage of the Stones with a young Mick Jagger doing his best James Brown imitation And not to veer off topic (who, me?), but I saw one of JB's capes at the Hard Rock Cafe in Vegas. Looked a little moth eaten.

If we were talking about least, I'd have to say Mac He reminds me of when I first started seeing Black Sabbath in '71 and Ozzy just stood there the whole time putting his hair behind his ears while singing. It was like some OCD thing.
