It's the way Mac writes - Haiku.

Can you imagine Killing Moon then I'm just gonna sing a limerick for you.

So Mac - Scottish background or Irish?

I believe the geeks get the chicks.

Sinusoidal distributions are great.

Uniform, poisson, hypogeometric, and the binomial theorem is the best.

And I love Pascale's Triangle.

I got Pi wrong the other day and now my work colleagues will not forgive me.

I love how the fourier transform of a gaussian is a gaussian.

I know what you mean.

My least favourite saying: Statistics, Damed Lies and Statistics.

Do you think the red line is for red - i reckon she is +5 in terms of number of thread digressions!

In all seriousness, applying statistics to gambling is a real turn on - I have a little project I am working on at the moment - If I crack it, they will carry me around the office.

I remember when I first joined the fora, I speculated that Mac had Irish ancestry. People seemed to take exception to that.

I think the controversy arose when I speculated that was the cause of all his bad habits.

Well, it would be, wouldn't it. Drinking, fighting, swearing, singing out of tune ...... (feel free to add Disneyland-type cliche).

One could hardly put that behaviour down to the Scottish side.
