Also, there was no way anyone thought it was a STRANGER in the coffin, as concealing the occupant's identity would then be of absolutely no consequence.

Yes. And it appears that John as Jeremy visited each of the O6 before he died and I'm sure he told them that Ben was the one responsible for getting the freighter blown up. Does this explain Sun's contact with Widmore in order to join forces with him and go after Ben? And will Ben order Sayid to track down Penny and kill her in retailation for Alex? And what about Daniel and the expendables in the zodiac? Did they go with the island or are they still adrift at sea? How about Juliette swigging down the rum while Sawyer emerged from the ocean? Just great!

duh! but you know what i was getting at with the coffin.

but i still don't see why the oceanic 6 had to protect the*lie* amongst themselves! (dumb!) like i said, it's not like anyone else was around when they were talking amongst themselves. they didn't need to pretend! they were only trying to get your suspense up over who this jeremey bentham was. but no one knew there even was a coffin until the very end anyway!

I've heard some people say they won't watch the show because Hurley hasn't lost any weight. Thus the show is totally unbelievable.

I am surprised that Desmond's vision of Claire getting on the rescue helicopter didn't come true. Does that mean that Charlie died for nothing?

You're really working hard for that uber designation.
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

we did, kinda. the coffin was part of the season finale of season 3. which was before we knew it was a flash forward (we thought jack was crazy in the past... and didn't know all the island people yet) so it was such a huge cliffhanger that we never found out who was in it.

you have to have faith in the show to believe the stuff that's going on. it's like X-files... its all totally real!

Do you remember last season's finale with Jack driving around all wacked out with that beard and bandaid on his forehead all the while clutching the obituary? He shows up at the funeral home and the undertaker asks if he was family or a friend and Jack says, "Neither." And then at the end of the finale he meets up with Kate at the end of the runway and wants to know if she knows that "he" is dead. And she says something like, sure, but who cares. Right then I thought it was either Michael or Ben. I didn't think it would be Locke.

When Sawyer walked up on the beach, I thought, "If he bags her too, I'm just not watching this show anymore."
