how comes the 'new posts' feature doesn't work half the time? i miss a lot of posts because it says i already read them, but if i click on them because i know better, sure enough, i hadn't seen a lot of them. *grumble*
I think the software is making the statistical assumption that the new posts are by me, and therefore not worth your time. Granted, this will constitute an error a small fraction of the time, but usually it is correct.

You're not uber yet and until then your complaints and posts don't count.
I didn't make the rules.

Now you're just cheating. I thought long and hard about my posts after about 980 or so. I wanted to make sure 1000 was something special but it probably ended up being a dick or fart joke.

I think there is an algorithm that removes withahip's youtube posts.

I don't know. Same thing happens to me. Sometimes I don't get notified via e-mail on new posts on subscribed topics either. It might have something to do with cookies or rifts in space-time. We'll just file that with life's big mysteries like "what happened before the big bang" and "why did I eat that whole can of Pringles?"
Or one day I'll Google it and get the hack that fixes it.
